In my previous home, I had my “home theater” set up in a living room entertainment unit. It looked pretty good, but I had to strategically stack my components to best distribute weight and so that nothing was blocking my router (can’t live without a good WiFi connection.) The unit had an open back so my receiver would only over heat from time to time.

How important is customer service in our industry? To me, it’s huge. I am a loyalist and if you do right by me, I will do right by you every time. I am all about building relationships and having each other’s backs… you scratch my back, and I’ll scratch yours, especially when dealing with technology-based products in a market where there are so many options and things are always changing and being upgraded.

I’m one of those guys who learns much better by doing. I do my homework, view videos, read manuals, and talk to others who have used something. But there’s nothing like getting hands-on with new products I haven’t used before.
