CEDIA Promotes Benefits of Boot Camp, Webinars

May 6, 2010

Great audio design is fundamental to creating the ultimate home theater. Electronic systems designers looking to build their skills in audio and acoustics can start with the basics and work their way up with this month’s CEDIA Power Hour webinars.

CEDIA University will present a three-part Home Theater Audio and Acoustics series in May. For participants looking to learn the basics of sound propagation and listener perception, Part I on May 6 is a good place to start.

Part II on May 13 will focus on how multiple channels of loudspeakers can be used and the difference between free-standing and in-wall speakers. The month’s webinars will finish up with Part III, which will discuss acoustics, psychoacoustics and how to optimize the listening experience.
