Steve Weiner co-founded Listen Up in 1972 after working at a local audio store out of college. When asked what his firm specializes in, he said, “Installing A/V systems for customers who prefer quality over commodity,” noting that Listen Up’s services can include basic TV hook ups to installing complete Savant whole-house systems. He has been a ZVOX dealer for three years.

How do you rate the Z-Base 555?
On a 1 to 10 rating I’d say the ZVOX Z-Base 555 is a 9. I am a relationship-oriented buyer and I appreciate a company that stands behind their products. The Z-Base 555 is a transparent solution in a business that offers very few of those.

For what types of installations is it best suited?
TV sound other than the primary home theater system. Maybe the bedroom, the study—anywhere we want to improve TV sound throughout the home.

What is one feature of Z-Base 555 that stands out in your projects?
Ease of integration—the ZVOX Z-Base 555 is truly a set it-and-forget it product.

What features would you like to see changed or added?
Not sure if its possible, but it would be great if ZVOX could make the audio portion wireless. Have an auto-finder locate the TV and connect to it wirelessly.
