Bohlender-Graebener's Radia i In-Wall Speakers

By RS Staff, September 30, 2008

Using "i" to designate "improved," this line represents BG's newest custom installation designs. With six models ranging from $800 to $3000 each MSRP, Radia i offers upgrades including Linkwitz-Riley crossovers to enhanced planar ribbon drivers.

The R-75i (pictured here, without the grille) and R-8i models work as a dual component speaker system, delivering balanced sound without the bulk associated with other multi-channel architectural systems. Both models are crafted in-house at BG from high-grade steel and aluminum.

BG's wideband planar technology produces a cylindrical soundfield, eliminating high frequency floor and ceiling reflections.

R-8i also supplies timbre-matched mid-bass to the R-75i.
