CEDIA Partner Location Training Update

A new one-of-a-kind partnership with Digital Sales Group/david llc will allow professionals in the northeast to access technical training and business education from CEDIA with minimal travel. CEDIA and Digital Sales Group/david llc will offer a series of eight training events in Westbury, New York, starting in late April and running through December. Events will include EST Basic Residential Boot Camps, a series of courses from CEDIA’s Electronic Systems Business college, and ESPA Certified-EST reviews and exams. Learn more here.


Electronic Systems Technician Basic Residential Boot Camps

Dates offered:

April 29 – May 1
July 8–10
December 2–4

There is no better way to acquire the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to get started in residential electronic systems. Topics covered include:

•    Communication cabling concepts
•    Cable, connectors, and termination
•    Codes and standards
•    Jobsite safety
•    Cable and subsystem testing
•    Speaker installation
•    Retrofit techniques and tools


ESPA Certifed-EST Review and Exam*

May 2
July 11
December 5

Innovation is driving the demand for elaborate electronic systems in commercial and residential environments. Electronic systems technicians (ESTs) constitute one of the fastest growing professions in North America.

The ESPA Certified-EST sets the standard for entry-level ESTs. To learn more about the ESPA Certified-EST exam, visit www.espa.org.

*The ESPA Certified-EST Certification does not fulfill the certification requirement for CEDIA Electronic Systems Contractor Full Membership.


Electronic Systems Business (ESB) Night Class Packages

Dates offered:

Spring Session – May 27, June 3, June 10, June 17, and June 24
Fall Session – October 21, October 28, November 4, November 11, and November 18

CEDIA will offer a series that includes one ESB course each Wednesday evening for five weeks. This is a perfect opportunity to gain continuing education units (CEUs). Each week’s course is worth 3 CEUs for a total of 15 CEUs upon completion!
