Middle Atlantic Provides Revit Drawings to Users

August 6, 2009

FAIRFIELD, NJ––Middle Atlantic Products is now providing BIM (Building Information Modeling) 3D models of its racks, cabinets, and enclosures in AutoDesk’s Revit platform.
Revit drawings help to identify problems resulting from objects occupying the same physical space, which in turn saves significant time and money during construction.  Because of this, Revit drawings can be important for architects and consultants.

The Revit family files (.rfa) offered by Middle Atlantic Products have been optimized for use in Revit, and offer convenient features, including small file sizes and the ability to select the appropriate level of detail.

Besides Revit files, Middle Atlantic Products offers a comprehensive suite of system design resources and tools, including RackTools, a free layout and specification package that also exports to AutoCAD; Comprehensive CAD Technical specification drawings; 3D AutoCAD files; CAD Block Library, and Visio Blocks.
