HTSA Adds New Member

By RS Staff, November 23, 2010

Buying group Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) has a new representative in the Austin market and member nationwide, Service TECH.

Experts in the design, installation, and integration of high-end audio, video, and control systems, the company has been outfitting homes and businesses since 2003.

"We are excited to be on board as a new member of the HTSA group," said Chris Pearson, owner of Service TECH. "I believe that joining HTSA will be beneficial for both our companies. Service TECH is recognized as the 12th fastest growing private company in Central Texas and this is the fourth year in a row in which the company has doubled its annual sales."

"Our goal of adding bright young new members has taken a big leap forward with the addition of Chris Pearson's team," added Richard Glikes, executive director of HTSA. "Service TECH is a great fit for our group and we are thrilled to have them as our 59th member. They are smart; aggressive; tactical; and very astute, from sales, to design, to installation."

Service TECH was founded in 2003 as a collaborative effort to bridge the best audiovisual client experience with a superior employee experience. Pearson has been in the audio visual industry for 10 years and noticed that most companies in the industry were plagued with a lack of focus on their most valuable assets-their own people. It was this premise that inspired Pearson and the company to focus more on how a client will work, live, and play in their space and understand their clients' activities so they can design AV systems that make sense and are easy to operate.
