Furman Sound Protects Florida Supreme Court Recording

September 20, 2008

Three courthouses in the 6th Florida Circuit Court system are protecting their newly upgraded AV installations with Furman Sound PL-8 Series II power conditioners. Because audio of court sessions is recorded for later third-party reporting, systems integrator Southern Sound Equipment selected the Furman units to ensure that power problems do not interfere with the recording process.

"In critical applications like at the 6th Florida Circuit Court, where the failure of a recording device can result in big problems for the systems integrator as well as the court, Furman power conditioners are often chosen because of their high level of reliability and performance," said Dave Keller, executive vice president of Furman Sound.
