IC Real Tech has been named as a double 2015 CES Innovations Award Honoree. IC Real Tech was recognized in both the Digital Imaging and SmartHome categories for its revolutionary, soon-to-be-released IC720 720-degree video monitoring camera technology.

Products entered in this prestigious program are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade media to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products across 28 product categories.

The IC Real Tech IC720 (recently renamed ALLIE) is a sleek-looking, dual-lens camera that gets placed atop a table or countertop and easily connects to the home’s Wi-Fi network. Scanning 360-degrees horizontally and 360-degrees vertically, the camera delivers an unprecedented remote-monitoring experience wherein the user can panoramically view from floor-to-ceiling and completely around the room and all without any distortion. There are now three models of the product: the ALLIE Pro, the ALLIE Home, and ALLIE Play.

Monitoring is achieved via any of a wide variety of mobile devices such as iPads, iPhones, Android devices and more. Recording is made possible via the camera’s two integrated SD cards (stores up to 2 hours) as well as an optional cloud recording service that the company will offer.

For enhanced functionality into the SmartHome, incorporated are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular technologies. Proprietary video analytics make possible home automation via gestures such as the wave of a user’s hand. A built-in rechargeable battery makes it easy to use the camera at sporting events, concerts, family gatherings, and so forth.

IC Real Tech was recently formed by IC Realtime as both a holding company and a brand. The move reflects the company’s restructured business portfolio and overall growth strategy of providing innovative video and network software and hardware to both the markets it serves and beyond.

Established in 2006, IC Realtime is an innovative video and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) solutions provider that sells its products through a network of more than 8,250 distributors globally. Market sectors the company serves include residential, commercial, government and military. The company has pioneered the introduction of the 720-degree video camera technology, Cloud Virtual Recorder, as well as proprietary cloud-based software that enables proactive monitoring.

“IC Real Tech’s mission is to develop and bring to market disruptive video and software solutions that benefit the commercial, residential, construction and transportation sectors as well as the mass retail markets,” said IC Real Tech CEO Matt Sailor. “Having our wholly-immersive 720-degree video camera platform honored by the 2015 CES Innovations judges perfectly exemplifies our technical leadership capabilities and the course we are charting.”

The prestigious CES Innovation Awards are sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the producer of the International CES. Entries are evaluated on their engineering, aesthetic and design qualities, intended use/function and user value, how the design and innovation of the product directly compares to other products in the marketplace and unique/novel features present. Products chosen as CES Innovation Honorees reflect innovative design and engineering in some of the most cutting edge tech products and services coming to market.
