Lowell Manufacturing Company, a U.S. manufacturer of professional AV products, released a new half rack made specially for half rack systems and small electronics. The new LHFR rack series sports a unique design that allows equipment to be mounted on any of six planes (front, back, top, bottom, and sides) so it can be positioned to fit just about anywhere.

“This little guy got a lot of attention at InfoComm,” said Kathy Lane, marketing communications manager. “It’s small but very sturdy with a welded steel frame made for loads up to 125 lbs.”
The LHFR features multiple holes and slots for cable and wire management plus top keyhole slots for quick installation under a desk or counter. The 8 or 12 space steel rack measures 10.69 inches wide and 14 inches deep. Optional accessories include rack shelves in several depths, blank panels, vent panels and a four-fan panel with optional thermostat probe.
