Luxul to Introduce New Dual-Band Wireless Access Point at CEDIA

The XAP-1510 combines high output power and 802.11ac 3x3 dual-band beamforming technology to deliver data rates up to 1900 Mbps.

Luxul plans to introduce its newest 802.11ac Wireless Access Point at CEDIA EXPO Booth 4625. The XAP-1510 combines high output power and 802.11ac 3×3 dual-band beamforming technology to deliver data rates up to 1900 Mbps.

“The XAP-1510 is a key addition to the Luxul wireless networking family and further demonstrates our focus on cost-effectively delivering the very best IP networking products to the CEDIA channel,” said Jeffrey Curtis, CEO of Luxul. “With high-performance 3×3 802.11ac technology, it represents a significant performance boost that will help our installers meet their clients’ ever-increasing bandwidth demands.”

The new XAP-1510 can be used as a stand-alone device and is also compatible with Luxul’s XWC-1000 wireless controller that enables client roaming and simple multi-AP wireless network setup. It will be offered as part of a wireless controller kit later in 2015. The company will begin shipping the XAP-1510 to authorized Luxul distributors in October, while an AC1200 (2×2) version of the Access Point will be available in Q1 of 2016.
