Tripp Lite has introduced a line of Multi-Stream Transport (MST) hubs to allow users to distribute a single DisplayPort or Mini DisplayPort signal across multiple monitors.

These MST Hubs features three different modes for multi-monitor displays: duplicating the primary display to up to four monitors, extending a display across multiple monitors, or creating a video wall for digital signs or video gaming. Tripp Lite’s MST Hub solutions have built-in converters to support legacy HDMI and DVI monitors, as well as DisplayPort monitors.

Key features of Tripp Lite’s new MST hubs include extending a display to enable work on multiple documents at the same time, boosting productivity. A video wall mode allows monitors to be arranged vertically, horizontally, or clustered together for presentations, digital signs, or super-widescreen gaming.

The solution is also well suited for creating duplicate displays in stores, airports, classrooms, auditoriums, and information kiosks. It’s compatible with DisplayPort 1.2 standards, and installation requires no drivers or software.

“With an MST Hub, the user can create dazzling displays from a DisplayPort computer,” said David Posner, Tripp Lite’s director of marketing for cables and connectivity. “These hubs deliver great picture quality without draining the device’s system resources.”
