ZeeVee Showcases Third-Generation ZyPer4K at InfoComm 2017

ZeeVee showcased its third-generation ZyPer4K AV-over-IP solution during InfoComm 2017 in Orlando, FL.

ZeeVee showcased its third-generation ZyPer4K AV-over-IP solution during InfoComm 2017 in Orlando, FL.

The new ZyPer4K is the third generation of ZeeVee’s AV-over-IP product line providing uncompressed content up to Ultra HD/4K resolution over a standard 10Gb Ethernet network. The introduction of multiview capability allows ZyPer4K to be used in command and control centers, production facilities, and many other demanding environments where accuracy and low latency are critical.

ZyPer4K now offers HDMI 2.0 compatibility including support for 4K HDR10, optional video inputs for display port, 3G-SDI, and analog. In addition, ZyPer4K enables switching from one source to another with little latency, even at 4K resolutions. ZyPer4K can be used on multiple screens to create a video wall of up to 25 displays. The unit automatically scales and adjusts HD and Ultra HD/4K sources to create a wall without additional hardware or software. Video walls can even be mixed with standalone screens.

“As one of the first manufacturers to ship an IP-based distribution product over two and a half years ago, we are excited to showcase our latest ZyPer4K solution at InfoComm 2017,” said Art Weeks, product manager, IP Products, ZeeVee. “Not only have we successfully deployed IP solutions across five continents since 2014, we have been quick to innovate and add functionality to easily and cost effectively distribute video, audio, KVM, and control in a signal platform without the need for complicated and expensive matrix switches.”

ZyPer4K aims to simplify video distribution by offering virtual plug-and-play configuration using the ZeeVee Management platform, MaestroZ. This platform gives integrators with limited IP knowledge the ability to “configure” rather than “program” equipment. Its graphical user interface (GUI) allows first-time users to manage deployments quickly without the need for certifications and training.
