Lutron announced its new iPhone App today, joining the ranks of many others, including SpeakerCraft, Savant, Crestron, AMX, and others who have embraced the Apple influence on our market. How is the iPhone influencing your projects? Are you seeing much interest yet or are your customers Blackberry people?

how about us Palm Centro users ?  being that cell phone is fast becoming a choice in the sprint pcs & verizon markets ???

I stopped wasting my time with convential CCTV, and will ONLY install IP cameras, like the Panasonic, simply because it works on Palm, Blackberry and any other internet enabled cell phone.

keyword here ... SIMPLE !

maybe they'll realize iphones are more for kids, than the people who can still afford to buy a Crestron system ???

With the economy, who knows where the money is anymore? However, I don't think iPhones are for "kids." I know plenty of 40 year olds with them. If they're "kids" then so am I. Woohoo! Thanks for your post. Good points about the security cameras.
