Active Thermal Management Adds Rack Fan Switches

Active Thermal Management has added two new thermal switch accessories to its line of quiet cooling systems.

Active Thermal Management has added two new thermal switch accessories to its line of quiet cooling systems. According to CEO Frank Federman, the switches were developed to add automatic temperature control to racks that are supplied with fans that lack thermal controls.

Two models will be available. One is in a one-rack-unit-high panel, the other in a freestanding case measuring 5.5 x 4.25 x 2 inches. Both models feature a large lighted digital temperature display and a remote thermal sensor. Shipped pre-programmed, the turn-on and turn-off temperature settings can be easily changed.

Both models will be available in October. The rack-mount version, ATM part 03-124-01 will have an MSRP of $180. The freestanding version, ATM number 03-123-01, will have an MSRP of $170.
