Allnet Adds Fourth Location, New Employees

Catalyst AV member Allnet has added new fourth location in the Minneapolis market and four new employees, as part of the strategic company growth plan.

Catalyst AV member Allnet has added new fourth location in the Minneapolis market and four new employees, as part of the strategic company growth plan.

Allnet’s newest location is at 5266 W 74th Street, Edina, MN, and will feature 7,000 square feet, self-shop/will call and a large training room. Two new sales rep associates, Chris Johnson and Michael Metz, recently joined that branch and will serve the dealers in the Minneapolis market. In addition, Mark Hoffmann was added as inside sales and Rick Murphy has been promoted to outside sales in Elk Grove, IL.

Johnson formerly served as assistant branch manager at AVAD, but also held roles as an inside sales rep and warehouse lead.

“After 12 years in this industry, I am still the most excited about the people and the unlimited possibilities when you take a project from start to finish,” Johnson said. “I like being in the center of advancing technologies, and Allnet provides the best opportunity. Being part of Allnet fits my philosophy of putting the dealer first, which is critical to this market.”

Metz concurred, “I joined Allnet because I believe they have the vision and the wherewithal to enhance a dealer’s business instead of telling them how to run their business.”

Wally Whinna, principal of Allnet Distributing and board member of the Catalyst AV Distribution Network, said that as Allnet continues to grow, it is adding experienced, knowledgeable team members to service our customers, provide technical support, and deliver our vendor partners message directly to the integrators one on one. “Our customers choose Allnet as their primary distributor not only for the premium products we offer, but also for the people that back them up with whatever type of support they require,” he said.
