AudioControl, James Loudspeaker to Present CES Theater Demo

AudioControl and James Loudspeaker will be teaming up with Wolf Cinema and Vutec Corporation to create an immersive theater demonstration as part of the 2017 CES in Las Vegas.

AudioControl and James Loudspeaker will be teaming up with Wolf Cinema and Vutec Corporation to create an immersive theater demonstration as part of the 2017 CES in Las Vegas. Easily accessible in the Venetian Towers, suite 29-103, CES attendees and media are encouraged to experience the home cinema hardware and software including DTS:X and Dolby Atmos demos. Representatives from each manufacturer will be on hand to answer any questions about these advanced entertainment technologies.

AudioControl will demonstrate the company’s home theater platform including the Maestro M9 theater processor together with the Savoy G3 seven-channel theater amplifier. Also on display will be the five-channel Pantages G3 amplifier, the compact two-channel Rialto amplifier, the Bijou 600 amplifier that is well suited for Dolby Atmos applications as well as two-channel music playback, and the Concert AVR-9 home theater receiver.

AudioControl will also showcase the flexibility of the Director M-Series DSP-enabled whole-house amplifiers including the M6800 and M4800, including access to the user-interface software. AudioControl will demonstrate its car audio products in the North Hall, booth 5016.

James Loudspeaker will provide the speakers and subwoofers for the CES theater, including a pair of Q48 floorstanding speakers for the left/right channels and an 808BE driver array built into a custom aluminum SPL soundbar enclosure with adjustable angle for the center channel. The surround and height channels will be integrated into custom-made aluminum towers built to accommodate the Venetian suite. These towers are a derivative design of the Modular Home Theater recently unveiled at the 2016 CEDIA show in Dallas. Subwoofers for the theater will be a pair of 15-inch EMB15DFs (down-firing) powered by the James M-1000 amplifiers with DSP. This array of theater speakers at CES will highlight the performance and customizability of the James Loudspeaker theater solutions.

Wolf Cinemas will preview the new TXF-5000 UHD/4K D-ILA laser/phosphor home theater projector as part of the system. Other new products may be on hand from Wolf as well.

The theater demo in Venetian 29-103 will utilize the new Vutec Stiletto 120-inch fixed-framed diagonal projection screen, which features the thinnest extruded aluminum bezel available on the market today. This premium projection screen is ideal for both home theater and commercial applications.
