Azione Shares Award Winners, Fall Conference Highlights

Azione Unlimited (AU), the education/buying group for custom retailers and integrators, conducted an awards ceremony to recognize outstanding execution at its fall conference, titled “The Fall Fete” in New Orleans.

The following awards were given to dealer members:

Most Sales Growth in Dollars – Smartsytems of The Colony, Texas
Most Growth Percentage – Forefront Innovations of The Woodlands Texas
Most Vendor Lines Supported – a tie Definitive Electronics of Jupiter Florida and DSI of Lake Balboa California
The Big Kahuna (Most Purchases from AU Vendor Members) – Xssentials of Aspen/ Denver/ Vail Colorado

Vendor awards went to;
Most Growth Percentage – Surgex
Most Growth in Dollars – Samsung
Most Dealers Engaged – Sonance
Golden Goose (Most Profitable Vendor of the Quarter) – Leon Speakers
Outstanding Dealer support – a tie Digital Projection and Stewart Filmscreen

Azione shared other highlights from its’ fall conference, with over 125 people in attendance.

“Sharing ideas to make one another more profitable is a cornerstone of Azione Unlimited,” stated Richard Glikes, president of Azione Unlimited. In the dealer meeting, four presentations revolved around the subject “Service and Preventive Maintenance Agreements”.

Don Dixon of Definitive Electronics in Jupiter, FL, illuminated how he took an unprofitable struggling service department and turned it into a million dollar profit center. Zach Campbell of Forefront Innovation in the Woodlands, Texas expounded upon their “After Care” program that delivers peace of mind and additional profits. An expose on how to design a viable pricing model on service agreements was the subject that Will Pisula of Encore AV discussion. Finally Richard Glikes, president of AU, capsulized implementation of maintenance plans. The “Art of Negotiating” was the topic of a 45 minute offering from Richard Glikes as well.

The dealer portion of the conference concluded with 23K Studios, the Azione Unlimited ad agency, unveiling construction of an all-encompassing year- long marketing campaign that included logo development, email marketing, landing pages, direct mail, and construction of stylish websites for dealers for $3,995.
