HTSA Adds New Group of Custom Integrators

Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) has welcomed Xssentials, Stereo Planet, and Texadia Systems to the hybrid-retail and custom integration buying group.

Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) has welcomed Xssentials, Stereo Planet, and Texadia Systems to the hybrid-retail and custom integration buying group.

Each of these new members is a respected leader in their market, with decades of experience in offering high-performance, high-end AV and home automation systems. All of them offer solutions both for high-end residential and for commercial markets.

“The real value of buying groups is not only the financial benefits, but really it is peer learning — you learn best practices from other members and learn solutions for the pain points your business is experiencing,” said Dave Daniels, CEO of Xssentials. “With that in mind, as we looked around at groups, we felt that HTSA, whose member profile is very similar to ours, was the best choice for us — it has a lot of members who are larger, with a higher revenue stream and multiple locations like us. Also, we liked the fact that HTSA is a member-owned group with real focus from Jon Robbins on providing great benefits to everybody – not just the dealers, but the vendors as well, because it’s a partnership. This newly redefined vision of what HTSA represents…was very compelling.”

HTSA’s leadership team has recognized that a consistent member profile is central to the group’s growth and success strategy. “This latest group of new members are all impressive, successful businesses, whose leaders, such as David Daniels of Xssentials, bring an absolute wealth of knowledge in the custom integration space that further enhances our unique educational and information sharing activities,” said Jon Robbins, HTSA executive director. “Notably, during our discussions with David about Xssentials’ interest in joining HTSA, they demonstrated a keen curiosity in learning more about the initiatives that HTSA has already put in place, not to mention the new special projects about to be introduced.”

Xssentials, with locations in Denver, Aspen, and Vail, CO, and Jackson Hole, WY, has more than 30 years in business.
