Core Brands has hired Jason Dominique, who previously worked for Proficient Audio from 2005 to 2013, as national sales manager of the security channel. In this new role, Dominique will work with dealers and distributors in the residential security market.
Dominique brings 28 years of audio and home automation experience to his new position, having previously worked in retail, custom installation, and rep distribution in brand management. Most recently he was the strategic accounts manager at Legrand. In his new role, he plans to spend time in the field meeting directly with customers, keeping them informed about Core Brands products and programs, and getting their feedback to help make the brands even better.
“I’ve already talked with our reps and distributors, and everybody’s elated that Jason is coming back,” said Keith Marshall, senior vice president of security channel management at Core Brands and founder of Proficient. “Jason has a deep knowledge of custom installation and readily understands the dynamics of all sides of the business, which really helps when dealing with problems and opportunities. Plus, he’s really great with people and a whole lot of fun to work with.”
Dominique added, “The security channel team at Core Brands get what it takes to support their distributors and installing dealers. One of the things I love about working with them was that we got some of the best ideas for products and marketing by listening to customers. I don’t think I’ve ever worked for another company that understands how to make customers happy the way Core Brands does.”
