Legrand is now providing language support for French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, in addition to English, for its Nuvo Player Portfolio home audio system.

Nuvo Player Portfolio from Legrand

Legrand is now providing language support for French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, in addition to English, for its Nuvo Player Portfolio home audio system.

Language selection is available in a free software update (version 3.2), including updates for the Player Portfolio’s iOS and Android apps. New Players being installed will automatically default to the language setting of the smartphone or tablet used during system set-up. Current users can change the language orientation of their systems inside the settings menu.

“The decision to support multiple languages was an easy one for us. Legrand is a multi-national company spanning the globe and this support is of significant importance to Nuvo music lovers everywhere and for our professional integrators and distribution partners in Europe, North America, and South America,” said Fritz Werder, GM and vice president for Nuvo and On-Q product lines. “Having native language support means being able to offer better user interface and listening experiences for more music lovers.”

Designed with professional installers in mind, the Nuvo Player Portfolio offers both wireless and hard-wired digital players for streaming audio content from online services, such as Spotify, Deezer, and Pandora, as well as music files and other audio content stored on a home network. The system will support up to 16 zones with the ability to play different selections simultaneously in every zone.

Controlled via an app or in-wall keypad, the Player Portfolio can also be integrated with many home control systems, such as Vantage Controls, Crestron, RTI, Control4, and Bticino MyHome.
