Legrand is integrating Spotify into its NuVo Player Portfolio multi-room audio system. The Premium Spotify service will be available to Player Portfolio owners through a download of Player Software version 3.1 released February 9.
“Spotify represents a significant addition for the Player Portfolio system,” said Fritz Werder, VP/GM for the company’s NuVo and On-Q product lines. “This has been the most requested upgrade to the Player Portfolio from both installers and end users, and we are excited to deliver on those desires.”
Designed with custom audio installers in mind, the NuVo Player Portfolio offers both wireless and hard-wired capabilities for delivering audio content from online streaming services, as well as content residing on your home network, to as many as 16 zones throughout a home. Its player preamp also turns any standalone amplifier or receiver into a controllable zone within the NuVo System.
Controllable through a downloadable app or in-wall keypad, the Player Portfolio can also be integrated into all the leading home control systems, such as Vantage Controls, Crestron, RTI, Control4, and MyHome.
