Legrand Makes Nuvo Player Portfolio Interoperable With Control4

Certified Driver and SDDP Designed to Simplify Setup November 8, 2016
Why This Matters

The new driver and SDDP enables Control4 system components to automatically recognize Nuvo Player Portfolio models in the system.

Legrand’s Nuvo Player Portfolio whole-home music system is now interoperable with the Control4 automation platform with a certified driver and Simple Device Discovery Protocol (SDDP). Included in the Control4 online driver database, this new driver and SDDP enables Control4 system components to automatically recognize Nuvo Player Portfolio models in the system, greatly simplifying setup and reducing configuration time.

Nuvo Player Portfolio whole home audio systems consist of wired and Wi-Fi distributed audio solutions specially designed to provide the highest fidelity with the latest in streaming source variety and intuitive control. These systems offer an array of product options and accessories to deliver multiroom audio to nearly any home.

With SDDP, Nuvo system players will immediately show up in Control4’s programming software, without guesswork or the need to search for drivers. In addition, the Control4 controller will automatically pair with the SDDP device as soon as it is discovered and added to the Control4 system.
