Luxul Certification Training Breaks Capitol Record

February 18, 2015
Capitol's recent Luxul certification training was its biggest to date. Luxul is a leading manufacturer of high-performance IP networking products that are designed exclusively for use by custom installers of AV, security, and control systems.
“Luxul is leading the charge in IP networking products, which is why their training sessions are among our most popular programs,” explained Curt Hayes, Capitol’s president and CFO. “And its products deliver on all fronts — performance, features, and ease of installation — making them ideal options for a variety of networking solutions.”
The training session was held on February 5 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Maple Grove, MN, and featured a record-breaking 52 participants. Attendees covered expenses to attend a detailed program on Luxul products and sales practices. Capitol’s previous attendance record was set during the last Luxul certification program in December 2014.
Among the products featured at the event was the XWR-1750 Dual-Band Wireless Router. This commercial-grade multi-WAN router can support 10 times the number of network devices as a consumer-grade device, while delivering Gigabit speeds across all ports, making it an ideal choice for high-demand IP networking in both residential and commercial installations.
Luxul also discussed a number of new products that were first announced at CEDIA, including a full line of AV switches and routers with rear-facing ports/front-facing LEDs, a wireless controller, and several new high-power wireless APs. Luxul’s high-power wireless access points (WAP) use proprietary signal enhancement technology to improve both wireless network coverage and speed by as much as 400 percent over standard Wi-Fi components. Luxul networking products are ideal for Capitol’s custom installers because they are designed to meet the needs of a variety of residential and light commercial environments.
