Meridian America (MAI), has added two new employees: Chris Emas, who will take the role of regional sales manager for the Rockies and Central region, and Chaz MacCarron, who will serve as design and support specialist for Meridian’s complimentary Design and Specification Service.
Emas comes to Meridian from Savant Systems, where he was area sales manager for two years, with previous positions at Total Marketing, Momentum Group, and Digital Sales Group, among others. Emas will focus on supporting dealers in his region, providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to help their customers get the most out of their Meridian experience.

MacCarron will take the role of full-time design and support specialist, dedicated to the company’s new Meridian Design & Specification Service. This service reduces cost and overhead for Meridian dealers working on whole-home, superyacht, and home theater projects. The Design & Specification Service aims to simplify the design process and provide custom installers with CAD drawings, including speaker and room elevations based on room dimensions.
MacCarron comes to Meridian from install and programming at Electronic Home. Previously, he held positions at Adelyte, where he was a programming technician, and Criteria Home Theater and Marine, where he did numerous residential and yacht installations.
“I was a Meridian fan before I started working for the company this year,” MacCarron said. “The sound of Meridian products is amazing and very few others can compare.”
