Nortek Security & Control is working together with Alarm.com to integrate signature technology from each for the launch of the new 2GIG GC3 home security and automation system.
The 2GIG GC3 home security and automation system launched this year featuring Alarm.com‘s cloud-based services. With 3 million 2GIG panels installed in the U.S. to date, 2GIG has shaped the home security landscape. The GC3 is a 7-inch all-in-one security and home control touchscreen panel that provides home security, smart home control, mobile alerts, and user features that will be anchors for 2GIG and Alarm.com dealers.
Following the trend towards SHaaS (smart home as a service), Nortek Security & Control will now support sales of the Alarm.com Wi-Fi doorbell camera, Skybell HD Edition. The full experience enables users to access all of their connected devices, including the doorbell camera, through the Alarm.com app. Looking ahead, Nortek Security & Control and Alarm.com will continue to explore synergistic initiatives focused on opportunities to deepen joint development and expand support for security dealers.
