One Firefly Launches New Video Training Product

UI University has been designed to entertain, educate, and improve customer service

One Firefly, a marketing agency that caters to custom integration and security professionals, has launched its new video training product, UI University. UI University is designed to make it easy for technology contractors to educate both prospects and clients using rich HD videos that depict how to operate the various aspects of an iPad-controlled system.

UI University is launching with three manufacturer libraries, including Control4, Savant, and Sonos, and a media gallery that is compatible with any type of website, regardless of platform. Each video and media gallery will be SEO configured and viewable on almost any device (including iOS and Android).

“UI University will fundamentally change how the custom integration industry supports and educates the end users of the technology that we know and love,” said Ron Callis Jr., One Firefly CEO. “We want to enable integrators to better serve their clients by making technology more accessible and less intimidating.”

Filmed in 4K video in Hollywood, CA on a sound stage with a professional crew, the final custom branded product is made available in HD and lower resolution formats in order to ensure the best possible viewing experience for the user. For each video, the integrator’s logo is prominently featured in the opening and closing sequences, while a watermark of that same logo is displayed throughout the duration of the video, creating a fantastic branding opportunity.

The UI University product roadmap has One Firefly adding manufacturer libraries to the platform every month starting in Q4 2016. Each library is comprised of 20 to 30 videos that can be embedded on the integrator’s website and distributed via their content marketing. The library videos cover subjects relevant to that brand, including commonly performed commands and tips and tricks.

Customers will be able to license the use of every manufacturer library individually, for a flat monthly fee with final pricing planned to be announced on August 30, 2016 at http://www.onefirefly.com/uiu

“Technology Contractors could choose to feature one or more manufacturer libraries on their websites,” Callis said. “We will have the most common and in-demand libraries available first and will continue to expand the offering based on the feedback we receive from the market.”
