PowerHouse Alliance members are diving into the profitable summer season with several major events alongside a revamped training series throughout the month of July.
To get the month started, California-based distributor Volutone will welcome contractors and custom integrators at their Van Nuys headquarters for its fourth annual SoCal Surveillance and Intrusion Showcase on July 1. Complete with live demos, giveaways, on-site trainings and nearly 35 leading security and smart-home vendors on hand, this event provides dealers with ample opportunity to see the latest security solutions and applications while garnering valuable face time with brand reps.
After several hands-on manufacturer trainings from Digital Watchdog, 2GIG, Kwikset and more, attendees can network and listen to music while enjoying a beer and burger from local favorite In-N-Out Burger.
“As we continue to grow in the security and surveillance space, we strive to highlight our accomplishments each year with this showcase and make sure our dealers are up to date on both products and trainings,” said Trevor Hansen, president of Volutone. “This event continues to grow each year, and with over 30 vendors on board, there will be plenty of opportunities to experience the latest in the security market, all in one place.”
To close out the month, fellow member Ultimate Integration will sponsor its third annual BBQ Bash and Tradeshow on July 30. Local dealers and integrators will head to UI’s Clifton, N.J., headquarters for a day full of product demos, displays, trainings, prizes, and plenty of discounts on popular products. PHA vendor partners, Yamaha, and URC will conduct informational sessions. It wouldn’t be a true summer bash without BBQ, so Oink and Moo BBQ will be on hand to serve up delicious local fare.
“Our annual BBQ Bash is always a fun and productive setting for us to connect with our dealers as business thrives during the summer months,” said Alan Malowitz, director of sales at Ultimate Integration. “With plenty of product demos, on-site training sessions, prizes and coveted discounts, our local dealers and integrators will not only be able to network with popular brands but will also walk away with some valuable business tools and incentives.”
