RTI has named Justin Bresnahan as director of training. Bresnahan will be responsible for curriculum development and management as part of RTI’s Advanced Control University (ACU), broadening the training team, developing in-house training and demo facilities, coordinating training programs with distribution partners, and overseeing the production of training resources for the company’s network of dealers.

“It’s not just about developing world-class control and automation products, but also delivering state-of-the-art service and support to our distribution and dealer partners. A crucial part of this will be an expansion of our training curriculum, with in-person and self-paced online courses using new knowledge-based assets and learning management systems,” said Ed McConaghay, CEO, RTI. “Justin is a natural fit for this role, bringing with him a wealth of experience as an installer, sales manager, and training professional. Each of these roles has given him the unique insight and leadership skills that will be vital in recognizing what our dealers need to advance their skills and be successful in today’s market.”

Bresnahan has more than 17 years of experience in residential and commercial AV. Prior to joining RTI, he held national training management roles with Samsung Electronics America and TiVo, where he devised partnership strategies and effective training modules to give partners the insights and skills to achieve their sales goals. He has also held sales and management positions with integration firms over a 10-year period, in addition to being a lead installer and assistant regional trainer for Ultimate Electronics.

“RTI has a well known reputation for creating innovative products to support its dealers,” Bresnahan said. “I’m thrilled to join the RTI family and plan to jump right into building upon the ACU vision and broadening the educational resources and opportunities for our dealers.”
