Technology & Business Summit Returns to Arizona

The Technology & Business Summit returns to Arizona, and will be held at the Talking Stick Resort and Casino in Scottsdale on Thursday, November 17, 2016.

The Technology & Business Summit returns to Arizona, and will be held at the Talking Stick Resort and Casino in Scottsdale on Thursday, November 17, 2016.

The Summit is an event brought to the industry by a collaborative effort of multiple independent manufacturer rep firms that represent manufacturers in Southern California. The rep firms that host the event are AV Partners, ByDesign Vision & Sound, Calwest Marketing, Current Marketing, Morris Tait Associates, Paul Collins Group, Scowcroft & Associates, and Sound Tech Marketing.

More than 50 exhibiting companies represented by the various rep firms are expected and will participate with tabletop displays and factory staff. The intimate venue and focused displays encourage an interactive environment where dealers get to talk with the exhibitors as opposed to doing a “flyby.” A lunch is included so participants can spend the entire day. The summit also features an education partnership with CEDIA, which will contribute with presenters, industry trends, and CEU credits for seminars.

“Arizona has some serious players and the market overall is experiencing continued growth,” said Mark Cichowski, the event’s founder. “Like many places in the country, this area got hit hard years ago with the economic issues, but it has come back and looking very strong. We appreciate the focus and participation of the integrators, exhibitors and the special reps that make this tick. We expect over 150 people to participate at the event.”

Industry veteran Frank White continues to work with the team at Integrator Network, the company that organizes and manages the Tech Summit. “This is one of those special markets that has incredible dealers and lots of opportunity for growth in a variety of areas. Like the other Tech Summit events, it is great to see the manufacturers invest their time and efforts in the territory. The one-on-one atmosphere with market leaders, the diverse product on display, and the dedicated rep engagement, along with the high-quality education, makes it really worthwhile for all.”

A hallmark of the summit is its combination of approachable hands-on displays along with an education-focused format. There will be a number of educational seminars, two hosted by the Tech Summit education partner, CEDIA: UHD, HDMI, HDBaseT Bandwidth and System Design (CEDIA CEU credits); Networking for the Future; Advanced Business Practices, geared toward business owners and principals; and how to embrace DIY and overcome the “it’s good enough” mentality.
