Vantage Controls Now Compliant with New California Energy Standards

Vantage Controls, a provider of integrated control systems for luxury spaces, is now fully compliant with new energy efficiency requirements for residential and non-residential buildings set forth by the California Energy Commission in CA Title 24.

Vantage Controls, a provider of integrated control systems for luxury spaces, is now fully compliant with new energy efficiency requirements for residential and non-residential buildings set forth by the California Energy Commission in CA Title 24.

On July 1, 2014, the California Energy Commission activated new energy efficiency standards that present a range of updated requirements for lighting controls and systems in both residential and non-residential buildings. These new standards affect all new construction, as well as additions and other structural alterations, with an emphasis on continuous dimming, sensor, and daylighting control.

“The increased emphasis on building energy codes for integrated control systems requires us to be forward-thinking when developing and updating our products,” said Andrew Wale, vice president of marketing for Vantage. “We are proud to offer a product in our InFusion system that provides the necessary capabilities to meet or exceed the increasing demands of current and future building standards.”

The Vantage Controls InFusion system is fully compliant with the standards set forth in CA Title 24 and enables specifiers, installers, and programmers to:

•Easily meet and exceed dimming and control requirements for high and low efficacy lighting, including LED, DMX, and DALI.
•Extend Title 24 compliance to other energy-consuming devices beyond lighting.
•Meet and exceed requirements for Demand Response.
•Allow ease of programming and reprogramming for future-ready buildings.
•Interface with other building systems.
•Control both plug loads and lighting loads as part of energy management scenes.
