As Crestron’s new VP of residential programs, Clancy will be responsible for driving sales and marketing strategies, dealer and end user programs for all of the Crestron residential business.

In December 2015, Clancy was elected to the CEDIA board of directors.

“I am excited to start this new adventure with Crestron and lead the product development, sales, and marketing for Crestron’s residential business. I look forward to working with the team to further increase their commitment to the luxury residential market,” Clancy said.

ACS is one of the country’s largest residential dealers with multiple locations throughout the country. At ACS, he was respected for his programming work, high-level design development, and documentation skills.

Clancy led not only the New York headquarters, but also the technology direction of the offices in Boca Raton and Los Angeles.

“As a market leader, we are focused and committed to the luxury residential market and are significantly increasing our investments in this key area of our business,” said Crestron CEO Randy Klein. “John’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge has already made him a key addition to the Crestron family. His appointment is a sign of our continued commitment to leading and developing the residential market.”
