Wasser Joins Legrand Home Systems Division

Operations specialist Larry Wasser has joined Legrand’s Home Systems Division as its new director of operations for the On-Q product line.

Wasser replaces Legrand veteran Cathy Weikel, who is retiring after years of service with the company.

“Larry is the perfect complement to our company and our culture," said Fritz Werder, vice president and brand general manager. "His long, successful track record encompasses a variety of companies, and with each and every experience he has displayed an undeniable thirst for continuous improvement and productivity. We’re thrilled to have him on board.”

Wasser brings a deep knowledge and understanding of operations to his new role with the Home Systems Division. Prior to joining Legrand, he served Tyco Electronics as global director operations intelligent buildings, and global procurement industrial business. In a previous position, Wasser enjoyed an 11-year tenure as director of operations for Phoenix Contact, where he was deeply involved in the company’s rapid growth and expansion.

As director of operations, Wasser will focus on strategic sourcing, supply chain efficiencies, and inventory management.

Wasser, who works and lives in Harrisburg, PA, is an active member of the community and participates in a number of industry and technology groups.
