On the eve of its 2015 Spring Conference in Nashville, TN, The Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) welcomed two new members, Hoyt Stereo and ResCom Integration, to the buying group.

Boasting 69 years of successful business, Jacksonville, FL-based Hoyt Stereo is focused on performance systems and integration and over the years has expanded its repertoire to include all manner of electronic control systems such as home automation, surveillance and security systems, and energy conservation through lighting, shade, and climate control.

“We’re excited to join the HTSA community and look forward to building new relationships with member organizations and individuals, while also strengthening partnerships with our vendors,” said Steven Goode, president of Hoyt Stereo. “We look forward to both learning and contributing to the exchange of experiences as we all work together to grow our businesses and the industry as a whole.”

Joining the HTSA family alongside Hoyt Stereo is the Grand Rapids, MI-based ResCom Integration. A division of ResCom Electric, the firm has been in business for 16 years with market coverage predominately in Grand Rapids, west to Lake Michigan and the Southwest Michigan area. The integration business, which complements its electrical contractor business, has been growing steady while embracing the growing connected home category and complementary emerging technologies.

“We at ResCom are thrilled to become a member of HTSA,” said Rich Conklin, general manger of ResCom Integration. “We have always admired HTSA’s professionalism, product associations and marketing prowess; now to be a part of this organization, is very exciting for us.”

“We are thrilled to welcome both Hoyt Stereo and ResCom Integration; both have a proven track record for success, including years of experience selling and servicing the home technologies that matter most,” said Bob Hana, managing director of HTSA. “Each company is already uniquely aligned with a variety of HTSA Authorized Vendors and more importantly willing to align their support of other lines with HTSA vendors, making their induction into the group all the more powerful. We are eager to get to work, leverage synergies amongst ourselves and continue to lead the way with service and support across the CE channel.”
