As part of its completely redesigned website, Sanus, the TV wall mount brand, is has launched its Sanus Spaces social website for dealers and installers to inspire consumers through beautiful home media design.

“Spaces” is more than a blog, according to the company. It will include advice from experts in the fields of interior home design, AV industry installations, technology, and TV safety, but it will also serve as an outlet for consumers to explore home tech projects from professional installers and other do-it-yourself consumers.

“Spaces, for obvious reasons, is a very visual site with a beautiful format. Images are essential to our readers, so they will accompany the technical know-how of Sanus’ experts, our contributors, and customers,” said Lauren Theobald, marketing communications manager for Sanus. “We think that consumers will use the exploration side of the site to get ideas about how to transform their media spaces, find professionals who specialize in home design and installation, and allow for everyone to learn from each other’s ideas.”

Sanus Spaces focuses on project exploration and is where expert installers as well as home do-it-yourself enthusiasts can create their own accounts and post “before-and-after” project showcases using Sanus products. Installers are encouraged to post current or past projects that transform media spaces through before-and-after pictures using Sanus products and upgrading with a few simple accessories.

For professional installers, this is a new way to showcase their portfolio and gain new business. Consumers can easily contact the business by phone, email, or social media through the Spaces profile page. In addition, installers are encouraged to share their Spaces profile page URL on their company or social networking sites as another way to promote their work.

“Sanus Spaces allows consumers to interact directly with the brand, as well as with professionals and other consumers who share their passion,” Theobald added. “The group of bloggers and guest bloggers that will be contributing are some of the best in their fields, and they’ll be covering a wide range of topics relevant to all skill levels.”

Current guest contributors to Spaces include Genevieve Gorder, celebrity interior designer; Kate Carr, president and CEO of Safe Kids Worldwide; and Krissy Rushing experienced AV and home entertainment editor; as well as SANUS’ own experts, such as Rob Zurn, product manager with 20 years experience in professional integration. While the topics will vary based on the contributors’ area of expertise, they will be addressing consumers’ most common problems with AV equipment and TVs, how to incorporate design into AV projects, TV safety, and a number of other subjects.

As part of the Spaces launch, SANUS will also be promoting the site to consumers on its social media networks and by running a “Reimagine Your Space Sweepstakes” between April 21 and May 16, 2014. To enter, set up a user account on the Sanus Spaces project site and add your own original “reimagined” or “transformed” space project, and then, like the SANUS Facebook page and fill out the sweepstakes entry form using your unique Spaces project URL on SANUS’ Facebook. The winner will receive a prize package of Genevieve Gorder’s favorite home accessories, hand-selected for the ‘Reimagine Your Space Sweepstakes,’ with a value of $4,000.
