By RS Staff February 13,2014

Demonstrating the ease with which technology and design can work together to blend into décor, Barrett's Technology Solutions is hosting an exclusive grand opening for its new, fully integrated Design Center.

The event will be held on Wednesday, February 19, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The high-tech Design Center delivers a unique, hands-on environment for customers to personally interact with the integrated technologies which include: a state of the art kitchen vignette featuring total home automation and lighting control, a new, ultimate media room complete with a 4K projector and impressive 172-inch screen, a custom built bar and video wall providing endless entertainment options, an outdoor living area fully-equipped with all-weather technology options, newly remodeled listening rooms featuring the latest in high performance audio, and a computer audio center displaying the best in wireless audio, multi-room audio and streaming media.

"At Barrett's Technology Solutions, we share a passion for reliable, high performance technology that is custom designed to enhance your home, office or commercial environment," said president, Joe Barrett. "With that passion comes an appreciation and understanding for the end-user's needs. Our customers want to enjoy the benefits of technology, without the feeling of obtrusion that wires, boxes and holes leave behind, which has lead us to develop an innovative Design Center that both inspires and informs."

In addition to perusing the integrated technologies within the Design Center, attendees will have the chance to engage with manufacturers, including representatives from: Audioquest, Bowers & Wilkins, Control4, Classe', Epson, Integra, Leon, Lutron, NAD, Revel, Rotel, Salamander, Savant, Seura, Sonus Faber and Sony.

The entire Barrett's team will also be on hand to answer questions. Complimentary hor d'oeurves and raffle prizes—such as the Sonance Launchport & Sleeve, Sonos Play 3 and Bridge and Audioquest DragonFly—will be up for grabs.

"It was really important to us that we pull out all the stops," added Barrett. "Not only do we want our new Design Center to spark the imagination and creativity of our guests, but we also want to also take this opportunity to educate our community on the wealth of possibilities afforded by custom technology integration."
