Indianapolis, IN -- To further CEDIAs commitment to greater customer
service, the association has hired Laura Moorhouse, of Canadian Custom
Electronic Management Service, to serve as a Canadian liaison to
enhance communication, frequency of education events, and value of
member benefits for Canadian members.
Moorhouse will be the main point of contact for Canadian members and
work closely with CEDIA Headquarters on all initiatives including
developing and implementing education events, coordinating membership
services and benefits, participating in industry outreach events and
maintaining partnerships, as well as marketing within the Canadian
market.
Having Laura as a direct link to Canadian members will help us deliver
more education events and member benefits tailored to Canadian
members," said Don Gilpin, CEDIA chief operating officer. Canadian
members now have a dedicated, local person to go to for all of their
CEDIA needs.
Moorhouse is former owner of Moorhouse Cabling & Custom
Installation Inc. and has more than 10 years of experience in the
custom installation industry. She has a B.A. from Dalhousie University
and a business diploma from the Toronto school of business.
Additionally, Moorhouse has been involved with CEDIA for many years as
a volunteer, contributing to the Canadian Action Team as well as
serving as the CEDIA Canada regional chair.
