Ergotron Makes New Executive Appointments

Ergotron, a Nortek company, has appointed Steve Baker as president of the Ergotron Business Unit. David Wardleworth has been promoted to vice president of the OmniMount Business Unit.

According to the company, these organizational changes that will position Ergotron for continued growth and profitability.

“In the last few months we have made a number of organizational changes in order to drive growth and better serve our customers,” said Pete Segar, group president, display mount solutions for Nortek. Steve and David bring business savvy and experience to their new positions, and I am confident they will drive long term future growth in their businesses.”

As the president of the Ergotron business unit Baker’s role will be to drive top line sales, business management and product planning in healthcare, education and corporate office markets worldwide, continuing Ergotron’s mission to make productive, healthy, and ergonomic computing solutions affordable for the world’s computer users. Baker was previously General Manager, U.S. Division, at Nilfisk-Advance.

Wardleworth will be responsible for increasing OmniMount’s market share and product diversification for both retail and ProAV, and will oversee global sales. As part of the OmniMount growth initiative; Christine Berquam has been promoted to retail marketing manager and Michael Woods has been promoted to e-tail marketing manager.

“This past year has been significant for OmniMount with numerous changes to the product portfolio and aggressive new business strategies,” said David Wardleworth. “I look forward to accelerating our growth in the year ahead by capitalizing on our healthy pipeline of product innovation.”
