Digital Sales Group is expanding with the addition of Dan Thompson as a new partner and Rik Patrick as inside technical support for automation systems at the Lenexa, KS-based independent representation and distribution firm.

Thompson started with Digital Sales Group in 2004. Prior to that, he worked for Ultimate Electronics for eight years, including four years as an associate buyer.

“Dan is the consummate professional. He has demonstrated over the years an ability to take control of virtually any situation that may arise,” stated Tim Childers, president of Digital Sales Group. “He has absolutely earned this promotion to principal and VP of operations.

Patrick brings 16-plus years of experience within the CE Industry, including design, sales, and engineering of residential and commercial automation, lighting, training, and technical support.

“Rik brings a wealth of knowledge to our team in addition to well established relationships with our dealer base,” Childers said. “Virtually everyone in the territory knows Rik and his reputation for providing top-notch tech support. He is a welcome addition to the team.”

Digital Sales Group is also a member of the national distribution network Digital Delivery Group, which represents premier product lines within the residential and commercial technology markets. Their staff include inside and outside sales support on all products.
