SnapAV Adds New IP Surveillance Line Under Wirepath Brand

SnapAV, a manufacturer and exclusive source of more than 1,500 AV solutions for the residential and commercial channels, has added its new line of IP Cameras and NVRs to its Wirepath Surveillance brand.

SnapAV, a manufacturer and source of more than 1,500 AV solutions for the residential and commercial channels, has added its new line of IP cameras and NVRs to its Wirepath Surveillance brand.

The first models in the line feature 700-Series bullet and dome-style cameras with two color options, an indoor PTZ camera, and NVRs in four, nine, and 16-channel configurations. Also shipping is a line of encoders for integrating IP cameras into existing analog systems.

The new bullet and dome models deliver 2-megapixel resolutions at a full 30FPS, while the PTZ boasts 1.3 megapixel capabilities and a 22x zoom lens. Installation is simplified with PoE, external zoom/focus adjustments and integrated test ports. The newly-designed camera housing is carried over from the company’s analog line.

“We developed this new line of cameras to be what our dealers have asked for – easy and reliable. With new housings that allow one trip up the ladder for install, easy integration into control systems, and an IP installer utility for simple set-up, this line makes it easier than ever for dealers to get into IP surveillance,” said G. Paul Hess, business unit manager for Wirepath Surveillance. “What dealers can expect is not only the quality in these cameras, but that they have been truly designed for the professional integrator.”

The new lineup features Wirepath’s intuitive user-interface, and for on-the-go viewing and playback, there are free mobile apps for iOS and (coming soon) Android available for download. MSRP on the current line is $699 for the bullet and dome cameras, $2199 for the PTZ, and a starting price of $995 for the NVRs. Additional camera models will begin shipping later in the year.
