SnapAV Expands Wirepath Structured Wiring Line

Wirepath Structured Wiring has expanded its line and now offers Wirepath ONE, a line of premium structured wiring enclosures.

Wirepath Structured Wiring has expanded its line to offer CEDIA award-winning enclosures and enclosure doors. Its newest premium sub-brand—Wirepath ONE—puts a new focus on the structured wiring industry. Wirepath is a brand division of Charlotte-based SnapAV, a designer, manufacturer, and exclusive source of more than 1,800 electronic home solutions for residential and commercial channels.

“Wirepath ONE is designed around a connected home—making people’s lives simpler,” said Lisa Pienta, category manager for Wirepath Structured Wiring. “Today’s homes are moving toward a central hub of technology. This started years ago with the punchdowns of landlines, cable, and satellite boxes, but now, people are also using routers, sound systems, or streaming devices like AppleTV.” Wirepath ONE gives installers more storage capacity per enclosure, and also helps utilize extra space with the addition of shelves and mounting platforms.

At the bottom of the enclosures is a cutout that perfectly fits a compact WattBox. The WattBox drops into the slot to fit behind the drywall, to save room inside the enclosure. Both enclosures and doors are UL listed. The enclosure is made of 20-gauge steel, while the doors feature a smoked plexiglass window, and are made of ABS UL94V/0 fire-resistant plastic. Each door has venting on the top and bottom in order to keep products cooler, and reduce signal interference. Enclosure doors even have a reversible swing for tricky spaces.

“Basically, this gives installers ultimate flexibility to design and organize as they see fit,” Pienta added. “You can stop other trades from messing with your stuff.”

Wirepath ONE is available for sale at snapav.com.
