Wyrestorm has promoted Dave Schorah and Glen Harvey within its technical support and management team, and welcomes James Meredith and Katie Sylvia to its global marketing team.
These appointments are key additions to the growing company to increase its momentum, further Wyrestorm’s commitment to providing the highest level of product innovation, and to support integrators and distribution partners worldwide.

Dave Schorah and Glen Harvey are current team members who have been promoted within the Wyrestorm organization. Schorah has been with Wyrestorm since the company’s inception, supporting Wyrestorm integrators and distributors as the group technical manager. With his appointment to product development manager, he will now focus on market analysis, benchmarking, and managing the product development teams and processes. Schorah brings a wealth of technical knowledge, problem solving, factory liaison, and management experience at Wyrestorm, as well as previous experience as an AV integration engineer for a UK-based integration company, electrical retail management, and commercial staging, lighting and sound integration.
Glen Harvey moves to the group technical manager role where he will manage Wyrestorm’s global technical support team. Harvey will be tasked with managing, as well as improving practices to ensure all integration partners get the most efficient, timely and effective support for products. Harvey most recent role was the training and specification manager for Wyrestorm in Europe; he previously held the position of group technical manager with Armour Home Electronics (UK). He brings a variety of organizational experience and a broad, technical skill set to provide the highest level of training for A/V professionals.
To the Marketing team, Wyrestorm welcomes new employees, James Meredith as the Wyrestorm Enado product manager and Katie (Short) Sylvia as global marketing manager. Meredith has worked for some of the most prestigious AV manufacturers in the U.K. Meredith’s career in the custom installation consumer electronics industry has included marketing and technical roles, starting with Cyrus as technical support manager and most recently at Opus. He is also a CEDIA certified trainer. Meredith brings an understanding of complex electronic systems, project management and system integration that he has applied working on some of the world’s largest custom installations and residences.
In her new role as Wyrestorm’s global marketing manager, Katie Sylvia will be tasked with building, managing and streamlining Wyrestorm’s brand, events, sales marketing, communications and advertising initiatives to support its industry distribution and sales partners, while continuing to grow its brand globally. Sylvia brings 12 years of consumer electronics, integrated marketing, and communications experience, most recently at Caster Communications. She also has additional global marketing communications and product management experience in the medical device industry with CareFusion.
