How do you rate the XU315-DC?
10. The XU-315DC, like all surge products from SurgeX are rock-solid and offer bulletproof protection.  It is also a double conversion UPS.  No other surge suppressor can stop a surge dead in its tracks. I know that I can trust the XU315-DC to protect and keep my critical systems up and running 24/7.

For what types of installations is it best suited?
We use this product in all aspects of our business—from protecting a single TV and the equipment rack to protecting the entire house.

What is one feature of the XU315-DC that stands out in your projects?
We really like the fact that SurgeX products do NOT contain any sacrificial devices in their surge suppressors.  Other company’s products wear out over time, but SurgeX products keep working pretty much forever.

What features would you like to see changed or added?
A smaller, wall-mountable UPS and surge suppressor for protecting telephone systems, networks, etc. might be nice.

Part of a class I am taking involves this particular subject and I am researching for information to use in an upcoming report. Your post is really helpful; do you have any others on this topic? http://www.businessbloggingfordummies.com/
