Mark Halsten, who designs custom integration multi-channel and two-channel AV systems installations, has been in the business for 34 years--opening his own firm after seven years of working for a company that he realized was not for him. He has been a THIEL dealer for five years.

How do rate the SCS4T?
THIEL SCS4T is a 10. It represents a strong value for the customer, sounds great, built well.

For what types of installations is it best suited?
We use the THIEL SCS4T in 5.1 and 7.1 multi-channel HigherPlane in-ceiling speakers in the rear.

What is one feature of the SCS4T that stands out in your projects?
The SCS4T has an enormously broad listening area. Unlike competitive products, you can be far off axis and get great sound—this makes the SCS4T particularly suited for both home theater and two-channel applications.

What features would you like to see changed or added?
Maybe a little more output would be neat.
