Salamander Unveils New Website

Salamander Designs, Ltd., a provider of audio/video entertainment furniture, theater/lounge seating and accessories for over 20 years, has unveiled a powerful new website designed to make it easy and efficient for dealers and consumers to navigate the broad range of AV furniture, seating and accessory products offered by Salamander.

As a result, residential and commercial AV dealers now have access to a valuable resource that will facilitate staff training, drive profitable customization and accessory sales, while reducing the time it takes for customers to make purchase decisions. The new website also tells of the company’s rich history—what differentiates the brand from competitive products with an emphasis Salamander’s three core principles: Design-Your-Own, Engineered to Perform, Built to Last.   
 
The Salamander AV furniture, seating and accessory lineup comprises thousands of options, and the new website enables users to easily narrow their preferences, choosing based upon style, size, functionality, finish and other qualifiers. This new online functionality makes it easy and efficient to choose the best solution for any application, the company says.

“The Salamander product line is somewhat technical, however one of our top priorities with this new website has been to present our lineup in a non technical fashion,” explained Salamander president Sal Carrabba. “The goal is to reduce the complexity for everyone in the sales channel while also highlighting options and accessories—an important profit opportunity for our dealers.”
 
The new website features innovative online tools such as Salamander’s Custom Configurator, which can assist both dealers and consumers in selecting the style, functionality and features best suited to any application. Dealers can enhance their presentation of Salamander’s products to their customers by leveraging multiple views of each model now available on the website. For those interested in more technical data, instructions, spec sheets and FAQ’s are also an available resource as well as an ever-expanding video library containing useful set-up tutorials for the AV furniture products.

“Our goal was to give our customers the ultimate web tool for making choices within the Salamander product line, and I think we achieved that with our new website,” concluded Carrabba. The new Salamander website went live June 5, 2013, at www.salamanderdesigns.com.
 
As part of the company's website launch, Salamander is also promoting their Facebook traffic. On June 18th, the company kicked off a weekly contest, giving away a new product called The Saddle, an ergonomically friendly iPad holder. Winners will be selected at random over a ten week period.
