Just off of downtown is the 4th Ward (a.k.a. Auburn Ave) area of Atlanta, which was home to Martin Luther King Jr. and his father's church, Ebenezer Baptist. The modest "storefront" is under renovation, but its modern, mega-church replacement is right across the street. The area is well worth a visit, if you have a chance while attending CEDIA EXPO.
