H-P Products is offering dealers and homeowners unique hose management solutions for central vacuum systems. CEDIA attendees can see the Hide-A-Hose central vacuum hose management system and the Vroom quick-clean vacuum system in action at Booth 1559.
Central vacuum systems are known for their powerful motors, convenient cleaning options and indoor air quality benefits. Most central vacuum owners wouldn’t move into a house without it. Managing a bulky hose has always been the one necessary evil of the central vacuum system, but that’s changing with the hose management solutions of Hide-A-Hose and Vroom offered by H-P Products and Dirt Devil(r) Central Vacuums Systems.
Hide-A-Hose is a space-saving retractable hose system that enables a homeowner to use a central vacuum system with ease and store up to 50 feet of hose within the wall. With the Hide-A-Hose system, users simply pull out the length of hose needed for their cleaning job, connect a TurboCat powerhead, and begin vacuuming. When finished, the system harnesses the suction from the central vacuum power unit to retract the hose back into the PVC tubing installed within the walls of the home. Since each inlet valve has a hose stored within the tubing inside the walls, longer hoses can be used (one hose can cover up to 2,300 square feet), reducing the number of inlets required for whole-house coverage.
Vroom quick clean vacuum system is the solution for everyday cleanups in high-traffic areas, storing up to 24 feet of hose in a 3-inch space-saving box design. Vroom is designed to be installed in standard cabinets in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and other busy areas of the home. Vroom combines speed, convenient location and the ability to clean up dry spills without gathering multiple cleaning supplies. Offering its users the “three-second clean,” Vroom is designed for situations when life gets messy. It is perfect for quick clean-ups of dirt, crumbs, pet hair, food, makeup powder and other dry debris on floors, countertops, drawers and just about any other household surface.
