How do you rate the 37FB-T?
Wow, I would give this product an A+ for several reasons. It is a fast install and includes all of the right mounting hardware for the TV. It is universal, so I know it is going to work right out of the box. I really like that the wall mount has an open center because it gives us room to place outlets behind the TV and easily run wiring. And then there is the security aspect! Vacation rental units make up 80% of our market, so we have to protect the TVs against theft. The 37FB-T includes security hardware for that purpose.
For what types of installations is it best suited?
The 37FB-T is perfect for our pre-configured solutions. It is an easy-to-use product that our installers are comfortable mounting. It is ideal for achieving fast installations, and the functionality of the tilt means that end-users can comfortably watch their TVs from the bed or couch.
What is one feature of the 37FB-T that stands out in your projects?
From a revenue-generating standpoint, the product gives us the ability to generate a good profit. The guys are comfortable with it and find it easy to assemble and easy to level. We are working on a project for Brett/Robinson, Phoenix West II, that requires four to seven TVs per unit--the faster those TVs get on the wall, the more profitable we become. The end-user benefits from the functionality of the mount and safety (the mounts are UL rated). We always end up with polished and professional-looking wall mounted TVs.
What features would you like to see changed or added?
If it didn’t change the price of the product, I would love to have a level built in. The fewer tools my guys handle the faster they go. Also, I would love to see hardware for metal stud construction, since the majority of our work is in condos.
