Reading HDMI Eye Pattern Tests

The HDMI consortium has very specific test requirements for HDMI cables. The other way to test an HDMI cable's quality is to send a signal down the cable and have a test made of an eye pattern. Steve Lampen, multimedia technology manager at Belden, explains how this is done.
