Russound is improving its premium E-Series lineup for Sphere Certified Integrators with the enhancement of two of its most popular products, the TSV-E5 touchscreen controller and the KLK-E6 Multisource/Multizone controller amplifier.

It also commenced shipment of its wireless RF controller, the RFR-E5. The new products further extend the multiroom experience that Sphere Certified Integrators can offer their clients through Russound's E-Series.

"In its first two years on the market, the E-Series has earned the commitment of our Sphere Certified Integrators and the hearts of their customers," Russound's director of product management, Andy Lewis, said. "We've now taken a major leap forward with both the KLK controller/amplifier and its matching TSV controller, and added a hand-held wireless controller that lets end users enjoy the same rich interface they get from the TSV, only from their easy chair, or anywhere in the home."

The new KLK-E6 features Remote Zone Control, making it easy and intuitive to manage system functions in any connected room in the house. The controller can even group multiple zones, such as a den/patio/kitchen combination, for simultaneous management of functions in the designated rooms.

The KLK-E6 also includes Radio Data Service (RDS) compatibility, providing even more detailed information that allows users to choose their entertainment with precision and convenience. RDS support extends to Russound's legacy UNO-TS2 control as well.

The KLK-E6 also features a built-in AM/FM tuner, a Smart Module slot for the addition of extra tuners, support for up to two doorbells (including internal chime options), IP integration with an included web server for expanded control, remote programming and firmware updates, and much more.

Similarly, RDS and other content data can be viewed in their entirety on the TSV-E5 touchscreen, for which Russound was recently granted a design patent. This wall or desktop mounted interface features a high-resolution, 8.4-inch full color, backlit touchscreen for quickly navigating sources, settings, and menu features while receiving system feedback. Valuable information such as Playlist, Channel, Station, Artist, Song Title, Genre and more are displayed in real time, allowing the user to easily access, control, and enjoy music and video sources from any source in the installation. To extend the versatility of the system even further, Russound has also enhanced the TSV-E5 to control two remote zones.

The content experience made possible by the these advanced controllers has now been "unplugged" for the end user, thanks to Russound's new RFR-E5 wireless RF Remote Control. This advanced two-way RF system remote control not only features Remote Zone Control, but its Zone Roaming capability automatically makes it a primary room remote in every zone the user enters.

The RFR-E5 includes the popular touch ring control surface and a large graphic LCD display that replicates the entire user experience of the KLK-E6 in the palm of a hand. The RFR-E5 also adds the ability to control additional local IR sources, such as TVs, cable boxes, and DVD players in the user's room, as well as components in remote zones without wires.
